Testing Google's custom search engine
To test Google's new custom search engine feature, I've started work on an online marketing search engine designed to emphasize results from expert sources in order to eliminate some of the extraneous -- but SEO savvy -- companies that load up the search results pages on almost any search related to online marketing. If you'd like to help create the search engine with me, please make your own suggestions here.
Here are the phrases I am using to test my online marketing search engine against Google's raw results:
Test terms for Online Marketing Search Engine:
Using Google alone:
- online marketing tips
- pay-per-click tips
- what is online marketing
- SEO for small companies
- viral marketing ideas
- building brand online
- online public relations
- niche marketing
- internet marketing how-to
- search engine advertising
Using Bug-Eyed Online Marketing Search Engine:
- online marketing tips
- pay-per-click tips
- what is online marketing
- SEO for small companies
- viral marketing ideas
- building brand online
- online public relations
- niche marketing
- internet marketing how-to
- search engine advertising
It will take a while to refine this process, so keep checking back to monitor the relevance of the results in the new search engine.

Hello,
I was flattered to learn my blog is part of your custom Google search. Many thanks to you. I didn't even know Google was capable of doing custom searches (there goes my credibility in your list, huh?). Let me know if there's something you or your readers would like me to research, explore and post on. - Joseph
